BAKENEKO's first solo exhibition was held at the City of Light Gallery in Seattle Washington from June 17th to June 22nd. The exhibition was themed around the concept, "Share the Love" and intended to celebrate unity and human interaction after struggles faced during the pandemic.
The show was a sold out success and gained multiple media coverage including Seattle's KING 5 News, Seattle Refined, and in the July issue of Origami Magazine.

PIZZATORU X BAKENEKO COLLABORATION T-SHIRT
My collaboration T-shirt with a tiny bushbaby friend from Osaka Japan, Pizzatoru! Internet famous Pizzatoru loves to jump around, spin balls with his eyes closed, and eat his favorite snacks in front of the world’s tiniest microphone. Go check him out on his Instagram and website!

WRAPPR X BAKENEKO FUROSHIKI DESIGNS
Here are Furoshiki designs I made for Wrappr, a Furoshiki gift wrap company! Furoshiki are traditional Japanese fabric wraps and are perfect for wrapping gifts, and is a sustainable alternative to wrapping paper. Be sure to check them out as these will be available soon on Wrappr’s website!

PHINEAS X BAKENEKO COLLABORATION T-SHIRT AND STICKERS
Collaboration stickers and T-shirt design with my wobbly and adorable orange friend, Phineas! Although Phineas has cerebellar hypoplasia, it doesn’t stop him from being the most energetic and foodie cat on the planet. The T-shirt was designed for a fundraiser to support workers at ASPCA and Best Friends Animal Society! Go check Phineas and his friends out on Instagram!
